Since these sites forward a click from one link to another, they are also known as URL forwarders and some do subdomain forwarding. Any of these services will do a decent job, but if you want to study them before you pick one, here is an informal survey of the competitive landscape.

Descriptions of the various attributes are provided after the table. You can click on the service name in the table heading to visit the web site.

<td align="middle" 5 most dangerous roads of the world
#1: “Road of Death” - Bolivia

North Yungas Road is hands-down the most dangerous in the world for motorists. This one clearly endangers your life. It runs in the Bolivian Andes, 70 km from La Paz to Coroico, and plunges down almost 3,600 meters in an orgy of extremely narrow hairpin curves and 800-meter abyss near-misses. A fatal accident happens there every couple of weeks, 100-200 people perish there every year. In 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank named the La Paz-to-Coroico route “the world’s most dangerous road.”

#2: Guoliang Tunnel in Taihang mountains (China)

The wall of the tunnel is uneven and there are more than 30 “windows” of

different sizes and shapes. Some windows are round and some are square, and they range from dozens of metres long to standard-window-size. It is frightening to look down from the windows, where strange rocks hanging form the sheer cliff above and a seemingly bottomless pit lying below. Apple recommends, however, that customers wait to upgrade Windows until after the next release of iTunes which will be available in the next few weeks. This document will be updated as more information becomes available.

If you are upgrading to Windows Vista or have purchased a new computer with Windows Vista pre-installed, here is some information you may find helpful:

Compatibility with Windows Vista
Apple is preparing to address a number of iTunes compatibility issues in the next release of the software.

Some currently known compatibility issues with iTunes 7.0.2 and earlier versions include:

iTunes Store purchases may not play when upgrading to Windows Vista from Windows 2000 or XP.
iPod models with the "Enable Disk Use" option turned off may be unable to update or restore iPod software, and make changes to iPod settings.
iPod models configured to Auto Sync and have the "Enable Disk Use" option turned off may require being ejected and reconnected to resync.
Ejecting an iPod from the Windows System Tray using the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature may corrupt your iPod. To always safely eject an iPod, choose Eject iPod from the Controls menu within iTunes.
Cover Flow animation may be slower than expected.
Contacts and calendars will not sync with iPod.
Upgrading to Windows Vista
If you are upgrading from Windows XP or 2000 to Windows Vista prior to the next release of iTunes, here are a few steps that will improve your experience when syncing your iPod or playing iTunes Store purchases once upgraded to Windows Vista.

Deauthorize all iTunes Store accounts.
Enable Disk Use on all iPod models.
Uninstall iTunes.
Perform a clean install of Windows Vista (Highly recommended but not required).
Reinstall the latest version of iTunes.
Open iTunes.
Choose Authorize Computer from the Store menu in iTunes.
Customers who have upgraded to Windows Vista and are still experiencing issues playing iTunes Store purchases should download and run the iTunes Repair Tool for Vista after re-installing iTunes 7.0.2. Aside from stating words to effect that Microsoft developed many of the features first, and probably shouldn’t have demonstrated them so early, is a statement that “Nowadays, security guys break the Mac every single day. Every single day, they come out with a total exploit, your machine can be taken over totally. I dare anybody to do that once a month on the Windows machine”.

It does back up some of my own previous concerns that Apple, and Apple users, should be more concerned about security and will inevitably have to invest in the same types of security software that PC users sadly take for granted today. However Apple owners will probably just accuse Bill Gates of being jealous of the Mac’s reputation as a safe computing platform – after all, massive outbreaks of viruses or other security problems are yet to truly emerge on the Mac, yet are well known on the PC platform, something that drove Microsoft to make security a top priority.

In terms of Apple’s ads, which portray PC users as dull compared with Mac users, Gates is asked whether or not he is bugged by them. Gates responds that: “I've never seen it. I don't think the over 90 percent of the [population] who use Windows PCs think of themselves as dullards, or the kind of klutzes that somebody is trying to say they are”.

Vista has also endured its first major potential hacker scandal with the ‘shout-hacking’ claims, with effectively state that malicious sound files could contain commands that Vista’s voice recognition software could pick up and act upon. This, however, does depend on the user having the voice recognition feature activated, and it also depends on the microphone and speakers being placed in a way that is conducive to voice recognition working properly.

Getting past the UAC controls is also something that can’t be done using voice commands, and while the UAC pop ups are certainly a little annoying, I’ve surprisingly found myself leaving them on – something I didn’t do with Vista RC1, where the popups were more numerous and annoying. So this ‘hack’ isn’t really a major threat, and if you think it is, you can always mute your speakers before leaving your desk, or simply turning off your computer, rendering the attack useless.

Newsweek also asked Bill Gates about the next version of Windows, and Gates’ planned involvement in its development, considering that he is leaving in 2008. Gates responded that he will have the same level of involvement in the next version that he has had in previous versions, and made sure to explain that Windows is developed by a very large number of people these days.

He also claimed that the feedback Microsoft receives from Vista will weigh heavily on the features of the next version, which he claims will be more ‘user centric’, allowing you to visit other computers and yet still have what appears to be your own desktop, files, fonts and other preferences.

Given that your computing profile is set to become portable in the future, there is no doubt a lot of work going to ensure that this profile portability is as secure as possible. After all, you wouldn’t want to go to a friend’s PC, which, unbeknownst to you is infected with a virus or spyware, and find that information from your profile has been pilfered by the bad guys. We’ll need to see some serious encryption or other security in place before people will trust this feature.

While Vista is an excellent upgrade to Windows XP, one that is long overdue, in its first week since the launch, it is still suffering from driver-itis… a just-made-up medical term for a lack of drivers. Sadly, this is what happens every time a new version of Windows is released. Unfortunately, Bill Gates didn’t say anything at all about this, nor was he asked. It’s a pity, because it’s the one most annoying thing about a new operating system – where the ecosystem of drivers has not yet caught up with the mothership.

Instead of getting annoyed by Apple’s ads, it’d be much better if Bill Gates could apply as much pressure on software and hardware partners as possible. For me, knowing that the bits of hardware that don’t work properly on my Tablet PC start working because drivers have suddenly become available and have automatically updated themselves through Microsoft’s ‘Windows Update’ service would really have me saying ‘the wow starts now’.

Unfortunately, we’re all still waiting. Yes, it’s only been a week. But when it comes to compatibility with standard hardware that has been available for years, lack of drivers is not good enough. Bill Gates, it’s great to see you on TV spots and interviewed here and there. But what we really all need is our computers working properly. Until the driver issues are solved, for most people, the wow can wait.goodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-75443852438129503742007-02-05T09:24:00.000-08:002007-02-05T09:25:01.123-08:00Apple revs up Mac attacks as Vista kicks offSan Jose, Calif. | For nearly a year, television and Internet audiences have been seeing a familiar string of ads from Apple attacking rival Windows-based computers. With last week's release of Windows Vista, the newest jabs aren't any friendlier.

In one ad, the character personifying the PC is dressed in hospital patient garb, talking about how he's set to undergo major surgery to upgrade to Vista. He then saunters off, telling the Mac character that if he doesn't come back, Mac can have his peripherals.

In another ad, a man pretending to be the Mac character heaps praises for the PC - until the real Mac character steps in, confounded, asking "What's going on?" The fake Mac replies, "Nothing," and then mutters, "I'm a fan," as he walks away.

On its own Web site, Apple Inc. tells visitors to get a Mac, stating, "Why upgrade to Vista when you can upgrade past it?"

Microsoft Corp. launched Vista on Tuesday, its first major overhaul to the Windows operating system in five years. It features sleek new graphics, better search capabilities, improved security measures and multimedia tools, as well as more advanced parental controls and gaming support.

Yet Microsoft detractors, Mac users, and even PC-oriented magazine editors are pointing to how some of those features already exist on Macs. And Apple - set to release its own upgrade to its Mac OS X operating system, code-named "Leopard," this spring - has already promised more innovations, such as automatic backups of files and advanced animation features.

The series of "I'm a Mac - I'm a PC" advertisements debuted last spring and are an extension of Apple's broader campaign to attract Windows users to the Mac platform. Windows remains the predominant platform for personal computers, though Apple's share of the PC market in the United States grew to 4.7 percent in the October-December quarter, up from 3.6 percent a year ago, according to technology research group IDC.

It's unclear if the ads have had a direct effect on Mac sales, but analysts say they have played a role in raising the public's awareness of Apple, alongside the immense popularity of the iPod player, Apple's growing number of retail stores and its new line of computers using Intel Corp. chips.

The ads have been criticized by some as too derisive, but many pundits, including bloggers who say they are Windows users, admit that the commercials are entertaining.

The video commercials star actor Justin Long personifying a Macintosh, and author and comedian John Hodgman personifying a PC. The Mac character is always portrayed as hip, cool and confident. The PC character, pudgier and older, is frequently portrayed as staid, dorky and a bit clumsy with its failed attempts to one-up the Mac in some way.

The underlying themes tout the Mac as more secure against virus attacks or more slick, with easy-to-use software to make movies or slideshows.

By May Wong,
Associated Pressgoodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-69237019220207350342007-02-05T06:48:00.001-08:002007-02-05T06:48:55.360-08:00How To Get A Guy In Silicon Valleygoodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-71823200267573646482007-02-05T05:07:00.000-08:002007-02-05T05:08:10.841-08:00The K-Fed/Britney Sex Tapegoodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-83163446164381401912007-02-05T04:44:00.000-08:002007-02-05T04:45:53.236-08:00The Truth About Penis EnlargementWhy Penis Enlargement Techniques Don't Work
Penis size is a sensitive issue for many men, including gay men; and penis enlargement is a big business. But, before you try the numerous products on the market promising to make your penis bigger, know the facts and beware of false techniques.

What is the average penis size?

The average penis is five to seven inches (127 to 178 mm) long when erect (measured from the tip of the penis head to the abdomen). Read The Truth About Penis Size for more penis facts and myths.

What are the common penis enlargement techniques?

Vacuum Pumps
Vacuum pumps promise to increase the size of the penis by forcing blood into the penile shaft through suction.
This method may sound reasonable and easy to perform, but it can result in loss of feeling, impotence and damaged blood vessels.

Medication and Pills
Always beware of advertised miracle pills, especially ones that promise to make your penis bigger. Since there is no FDA-approved medication for penis enhancement, advertised penis enlargement pills are not regulated. As a result, there is no guarantee as to what ingredients or medications the supposed penis enhancement pill contains. These meds can pose serious health risks. Not to mention, the pill may be a placebo.

Hanging Weights
Some believe penis enhancement can be achieved by hanging weights from the tip of the penis repeatedly over time. This is perhaps the oldest method of enhancement, but there is no scientific basis and any enlargement that was actually achieved happened over years. Hanging weights may increase the length of a flaccid penis over time, but they do not increase thickness. Weights can also result in stretch marks, lesions and decreased sensation in the penis.

Surgery
There is a surgical procedure that involves cutting the suspensory ligament (which elongates your penis), but due to safety risks most doctors are not willing to perform this procedure. And, of course, no surgical procedure should ever be performed at home or without a qualified medical professional.

Exercises
Like weight training programs, penis enhancement exercise methods promise that the penis can be made bigger through strength training and conditioning. However, this myth can also be busted. There are no muscles in the penis and therefore strength training and exercise cannot increase its size.

Why penis enlargement techniques do not work:

Many programs and products claim to have found the one true secret to a bigger penis. Potential clients should take caution, however, because there is no scientifically proven method of increasing your penis size without risk. Any by "scientific" I don't mean a team of infomercial professionals, but a regulated, licensed and controlled body of research, like the Federal Food and Drug Administration.

Don't sacrifice sensation or permanent damage for a false promise of size enhancement. By attempting to increase your penis size, you run the risk of losing sensation in your peripheral nerves (making it more difficult to ejaculate), impotence, scarring, lesions or other permanent damage. Few advertised penis enlargement products or processes are open about potential side affects or permanent damage.

Don't confuse swelling and irritation for size enhancement, either. Most techniques can cause irritation to the penis, which can result in temporary swelling- eventually leading to permanent damage.goodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-38779687237966176922007-02-05T04:21:00.000-08:002007-02-05T04:23:35.735-08:007 ways to easy treatment for PMS!Many things have been tried to ease the symptoms of PMS. No treatment works for every woman, so you may need to try different ones to see what works. If your PMS is not so bad that you need to see a doctor, some lifestyle changes may help you feel better. Below are some lifestyle changes that may help ease your symptoms.

1. Take a multivitamin every day that includes 400 micrograms of folic acid. A calcium supplement with vitamin D can help keep bones strong and may help ease some PMS symptoms.
2. Exercise regularly.
3. Eat healthy foods, including fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
4. Avoid salt, sugary foods, caffeine, and alcohol, especially when you are having PMS symptoms. 5. Get enough sleep. Try to get 8 hours of sleep each night.
6. Find healthy ways to cope with stress. Talk to your friends, exercise, or write in a journal.
7. Don’t smoke.

Over-the-counter pain relievers such as ibuprofen, aspirin, or naproxen may help ease cramps, headaches, backaches, and breast tenderness.

In more severe cases of PMS, prescription medicines may be used to ease symptoms. One approach has been to use drugs such as birth control pills to stop ovulation from occurring. Women on the pill report fewer PMS symptoms, such as cramps and headaches, as well as lighter periods.goodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-64665383923893865602007-02-04T09:52:00.000-08:002007-02-04T09:58:05.659-08:005 Home Treatment Options for Relieving Migraine Headaches Naturally! Most people just take a pain pill, but how safe is that? If you are worried about taking potentially dangerous medications for your migraine headaches maybe you should try one of the many safe and effective natural approaches that are available today.

There are many migraine headache treatments available that can be both safe and effective. Natural treatments for migraine headaches are usually safer and cheaper than traditional pain medications. And in many instances they can relieve pain just as well or even better than prescription or non-prescription drugs. The possibility of a negative reaction to a safe and natural migraine headache treatment is still there, but it is less with most natural treatment methods than it is with pain-relieving medications.

Every person on the face of the earth is unique. Their body chemistry is different than anyone else's. One person may find relief from their migraine headaches with one type of treatment while someone else may try that same treatment and find no relief at all. No two people will experience the same reaction from the same treatment. But why is that?

Every body is made up of a mixture of chemicals. Every person produces certain chemicals in their body so that they will be able to function at their best. Histamines will increase gastric secretion and dilate the capillaries. Insulin is secreted by the pancreas and helps regulate the blood sugar levels. Hormones are produced by the body for many different functions. Adrenaline (epinephrine) is produced in response to stress. Every body is unique and produces different chemicals in differing amounts. When a person takes aspirin (a chemical) for their migraine headaches it changes the chemical make-up of that person's body.

You've always heard that when two chemicals, in the same amounts, at the same temperature, etc. are mixed together they will cause the same reaction. That may be true, but when one chemical (such as aspirin) is taken by two separate people their reactions will never be exactly the same because no two people have identical chemicals in their body. One person taking aspirin will not have the same reaction as someone else taking aspirin. And it's the same with natural migraine headache treatments. Since no two people are identical no two people will respond exactly the same to a treatment method for migraine headaches.

So just because one migraine headache treatment does not work for one person does not mean it won't work for your migraine headaches. There are many effective alternatives to taking medications when it comes to relieving migraine headaches. You just have to try one for yourself to see if it will work for you.

One natural and popular treatment method for migraine headaches is chiropractic care, or chiropractic manipulations. Studies have shown that over 80% of headache patients find some type of relief for their headaches with chiropractic treatment. And chiropractic treatment has been shown to be extremely safe. Spinal problems cause headaches and when these spinal problems are treated by chiropractors a high percentage of their patients experience relieve from their pain.

Another natural way to relieve migraine headaches is biofeedback. This is a safe and potentially effective way to eliminate pain. Biofeedback is not actually a treatment, but a training program designed to help a person develop the ability to control their autonomic (involuntary) nervous system. Functions that are normally automatic in the body, such as blood pressure regulation or heart rate can be controlled voluntarily. This technique makes it possible for a person to control their own heart rate, blood pressure, skin temperature or relaxation of their muscles.

It's no secret that stress causes muscle tension. And nobody will deny that muscle tension causes pain and headaches. And it's also a fact that by relaxing this muscle tension, especially in the neck and head, it is possible to relieve the migraine headaches or neck pain that is being caused by the tension. With biofeedback the machinery is not always necessary. Once the biofeedback technique is learned there is no longer any need for the equipment. The patient with migraine headaches can now produce the desired effect at any time. A person that has been trained with biofeedback can control some of their bodily functions, such as muscle relaxation, which can help relieve their headache pain.

Another cause of headaches can be the intake of too much salt. Some people just can't get enough of it. They pour it onto their food with wreckless abandon. And too much salt can and does cause headaches. What's the solution? Simply lessening the salt intake can sometimes prevent the headaches from occurring.

Food sensitivities have also been shown to cause migraine headaches in some people. Foods such as cheese, alcohol, MSG (monosodium glutamate - a food additive), yeast, wheat, nuts, avocados, beans, bananas, oranges (and other citrus fruits), pork, vinegar (and pickled foods), dairy products, caffeine, chocolate, onions and others can cause migraines. Foods that cause migraine headaches are called "migraine triggers." People who experience migraine headaches because of food allergies can reduce or eliminate their pain by eliminating the foods that cause the headaches.

It sounds simple, but it takes a little detective work to figure out which foods, if any, are causing the migraine headaches. So how can you determine which foods are the culprits? The logical way is to keep a diary of what you eat and when. Get a small notebook, with each page representing one day, and make three columns on each of the pages. The first column on the left side of the page will contain the hours in the day. The second column down the middle of the page will be a list of the foods eaten that day. And the third column on the right side of the page will list the symptoms (headaches) that you experience.

Here's how the food diary works: if you had an orange, cereal and milk for breakfast at 8 AM you would write "orange, cereal, milk" in the middle (food) column directly to the right of 8 AM in the left (time) column. Make a note of everything that you eat on this list and at what time you ate them.

Next, whenever you experience a migraine headache write "migraine headache" or "headache" in the right (symptoms) column that corresponds with the time (in the left column) your headache began. For example, if you started feeling pain from one of your migraine headaches at 2 PM you would write "headache" in the right (symptoms) column directly across from 2 PM in the left (time) column.

Once you've had enough time to experience a few migraine headaches you will be able to examine your food diary to determine which foods you ate shortly before you began experiencing your pain. For example, if you had 3 migraine headaches over a one-month period, and you had milk shortly before each of the migraine attacks, milk may be the culprit. It may take a few weeks or even a few months to come to any conclusions, but over time, by figuring out which foods or ingredients in these foods, are causing your pain, you will be able to eliminate these ingredients and relieve your pain caused by these foods.

Probably the most common cause of headaches is just plain old stress. People who experience tension in their lives can get headaches from their increased tension. Stress can be caused by many things including work-related stress or family-related stress. And although it's not always possible to eliminate the cause of the stress it is often possible to relieve the muscle tension and pain that originates from the stress.

Biofeedback training (as explained above) is one way to help reduce stress. Other ways are taking a warm bath or shower, lying down and relaxing in a quiet dark room, having someone massage your neck and head (temporal region) muscles to help relieve your tension and muscle spasms or placing something cold (ice) on the back of the neck (at the base of the skull). When using ice it should not be placed directly on the skin. Some wet paper towels that have had the water wrung out of them should be placed between the ice and the skin. Regular exercise can also, over time, reduce tension.

We have discussed 5 natural treatment methods that are available to migraine headache patients. They are all considered safe and are effective for many people. There are many other natural treatment methods out there for you to try. If you have headaches it may be beneficial for you to try some of these treatments or search for others on your own. But as a word of advice, it is always a good idea to talk with a chiropractor or medical doctor before treating yourself for a health condition.

About the Author:
Dr. Larry A. "But we now have some theories." Sumpio, the lead author of the review in the Journal of the American College of Surgeons, said he and his colleagues reviewed more than 100 experimental and clinical studies about green tea in writing the article. He said one theory is that the average 1.2 liters of green tea consumed daily by many people in Asia offers the anti-oxidant protective effects of the polyphenolic EGCG.

EGCG may prevent LDL oxidation, which has been shown to play a key role in the pathophysiology of arteriosclerosis. EGCG also reduces the amount of platelet aggregation, regulates lipids, and promotes proliferation and migration of smooth muscle cells, which are all factors in reducing cardiovascular disease, he said. Sumpio said other reports show that EGCG prevents growth of certain tumors. Tea, according to studies, also can improve gastrointestinal function, alcohol metabolism, kidney, liver and pancreatic function, protect skin and eyes and alleviate arthritis. Tea has been used in managing and preventing allergies, diabetes, bacterial and viral infections, cavities, reduce or cure diseases with an inflammatory component and improve neurologic and psychological health.

"More studies are necessary to fully elucidate and better understand green tea's method of action, particularly at the cellular level," Sumpio said. "The evidence is strong that green tea consumption is a useful dietary habit to lower the risk for, as well as treat, a number of chronic diseases. Certainly, however, smoking cessation is the best way to prevent cardiovascular disease and cancer."goodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-82137880759250903522007-02-04T03:29:00.000-08:002007-02-04T03:44:53.673-08:00Girl on an amusement park ride is scalped when her hair gets caught in the attraction's machinery.Amusement parks are supposed to be carefree fun-filled environments folks visit when looking for a thrilling yet safe experience. Attractions are designed to chill and terrify even the most stalwart of souls yet do so with every care having been taken to prevent riders from coming to harm. Or at least that's the way it should work. But it doesn't always.

Sadly, the basic thrust of the legend - that a child was scalped by an amusement ride - is true.

On 14 September 1996, 8-year-old Danielle Foti and her friend, Valentina Espinola, were celebrating their eighth birthdays with a visit to Bonkers 19 indoor amusement park at the Harborlight Mall in Weymouth, Massachusetts. Part of the fun was to be a ride on the Mini-Himalaya, a sled-like carousel ride.

Danielle's hair slipped through a one-inch gap between the back of her seat and the cover on the motor. It wound around a motor shaft spinning at 1,745 revolutions per minute, reeling in her head with such force that it smashed the back of her fiberglass seat. A piece of her scalp was caught in the motor. (A manufacturer of the rides has said the gap should not exist, that the motor cover should be flush with the back of the seat.)

Danielle has undergone four bouts of reconstructive surgery, and in 1998 she was awarded $7.5 million in an out-of-court settlement. The amusement park where she was injured closed shortly after the accident, never to reopen.

What puts this real-life accident within the realm of lore is how the incident is now remembered. As shown by the examples quoted above, people recall it having happened at a number of different parks and having involved a high-speed, high-drop thrill ride, or at least a ride in which height played a significant factor (such as a ferris wheel). In such scenarios, the horrifying event would not only have been public, but the victim would have been hung in the air for all to see. However, the Mini Himalaya cannot by any stretch of the imagination be considered a "thrill ride". Indeed, it's classified as a "kiddie ride" by those who operate amusement parks.

A somewhat similar (yet far less horrific) accident took place in March 2001 at a North Carolina carnival when 7-year-old Samantha Small caught her braids in the enclosed car of the Skydiver, a vertical wheel ride which spins riders about as they traverse the circuit of a ferris wheel. The girl lost two chunks of her own hair as well as some hair extensions, but no scalp. Her injuries required treatment with antibiotic cream.

A deadly incident (albeit one involving a maintenance worker rather than a passenger) occurred on 16 August 2003, when 40-year-old carnival worker Doug McKay was killed at the Whidbey Island County Fair (about 30 miles northwest of Seattle) after being dragged by a doughnut-shaped Super Loop 2 roller coaster while spraying lubricant on the tracks. The coaster pulled McKay between 25 and 40 feet into the air (reportedly scalping him in the process), and dropped him back-first onto a fence, killing him. We include mention of it here because sheriff's deputies originally reported McKay's long hair was caught in the ride. Later reports agreed that he had been trapped by his arm.

Accidents at amusement parks are nothing new. As safe as we want to believe these sites are, they have been the scenes of injury and death. Tragedies like these stay in people's minds, however, due to the nature of the injury - we view scalping as especially horrific. That such a gruesome event could take place in a venue so strongly associated with fun and happy times is the ultimate in ironic juxtaposition.goodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5159035790786427978.post-57197661301156196812007-02-04T03:19:00.000-08:002007-02-04T03:27:09.446-08:00Drunk driver finds body of young girl embedded in the grill of his carThe morning after an all-night drinking binge, a man discovers the body of a little girl embedded in his car's grill.

A man didn't come home after work until 2 a.m. When he got upstairs to their bedroom, his wife could see he was cockeyed drunk.

The next morning he was pulling out of the garage onto the driveway to go to work. His wife ran to the door to give him his lunch, which he had forgotten. She went as far as the porch and fainted. Her husband got out of the car to see what was the matter. He saw an eight-year-old girl imbedded in the grill of his car.

He reported himself to the police - said he had a complete blackout, didn't remember anything. He was charged with DWI and a few other things that will keep him in prison for quite some time.

Maybe others who drink and drive may decide it's not worth the risk after reading this letter.goodreadinghttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06094608454550056242noreply@blogger.com0
